This information may include your device ID and type, your device's geographic location while the app is actively running, the device browser and operating system, your preferences and settings (e.g. time zone, language, privacy preferences, etc.), access times, user behaviour and features you've used on Trace Friends and the referring IP address.

Certain information may also automatically collect through the use of "cookies" or tracking pixels. These are small files that your browser places on your device. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies to gain insight into how you interact with our services, to analyse general user behaviour and patterns in order for us to optimise and enhance the user experience. We (or third party service providers) may use some data collected on our services to display you Trace Friends promotional material on other sites or applications.

Information Provided by You

When you join Trace Friends, you will be required to provide your email address, mobile number, name, gender and date of birth.

This is similar to when you sign up on a social network account (e.g. Facebook). Additional information, as listed on the permissions page when you join with your social network account, may be collected too. This could include your current city, profile pictures, social network account ID, friends list, etc.

When messaging with other Trace Friends members, you provide us with the content of your conversations. Similarly, if you contact our support team you'll be providing us with the content of that communication.

We may collect and store personal information about other people that is available to us through your social network login, namely the name and picture of certain friends. This information will not be shared with anyone and will only be used for you to invite or notify your friends about Trace Friends.
